I recently stayed at Unit 32 at Waves Village in Rodanthe. I wish I had read these other less than stellar reviews BEFORE I booked my 3rd vacation to a property managed by First Flight Rentals. I stayed in Waves in 2019 and in Sunset in 2016. I NEVER had any issues. The kitchen was well stocked and the place was clean. The rentals were also very reasonably priced. We stayed in Rodanthe at the Sunset Resort. It was an amazing condo that offered a front seat to some of the most beautiful sunsets 🌅 Very clean and spacious! We enjoyed every second! The only recommendation I would have is lights in the pool area, one at the driveway entrance, and maybe a small one at the gazebo.
Beautiful views right on the ocean in a beautiful condo! The first flight staff was so great to deal with! Can’t wait to come back!
From the two times I have stayed at first flight rentals, my wife and I have had nothing but great times and service. The staff at the home office is great if any one has any questions. Very spacious/up-to-date condos. The private beach does not get very crowded which is a plus for me since I come from a beach town in New Jersey that’s always crowded in the summer. I give first flight rentals a 10/10 to have a excellent vacation in the outer banks! The pictures are from FFR115!

Had to cancel a trip due to a death in my family. Even sent to obituary to them to verify the cause for cancelling the trip. They would not do anything for us. Lost almost $1650. I asked if there is any way to come another weekend, off sesason, weekday, anything just to let us not feel like we lost everything. Nope. Will never use them again.
Horrible customer service
We've been staying with First Flight Rentals since there first property opened in 2008 at Kill Devil Hills. Also a great experience. I love the location, beach at your doorstep and pool option too. I haven't had any complaints with the units we've rented. Modern, clean, up to date. Last week I stayed at Croatan Surf Club for the first time. It had a great pool area. We stayed in Nags Head location. We were right across from the beach (highway and side street) and next to outlets!! We were able to walk to beach and outlets with no problem. We drove to beach as well and there was plenty of parking since we had beach chairs and toys, etc. The place was beautiful and very homey/comfortable. The pool was an added bonus and nice and relaxing! Thank you!!
