Have had a mortgage with FFL for 13 years, and added a HELOC several years later. We do our primary banking through JPMorganChase, because we're looking for efficiency and accessibility. FFL does not deliver efficiency and accessibility. The technology/payment/account tracking systems have been consistently outdated and VERY frustrating to use. This lender was recommended to me by a business partner for a home mortgage. Despite having a long professional history with this bank, their rates were consistently >0.5% higher than others. Went with them anyway hoping for a good experience. The only helpful person was my loan officer. The underwriting process was a last minute nightmare, they force you to open a checking account to build up their own deposits and will harass you if you aren't interested in actually using it. Try and get anyone on the phone, it won't happen. called 10 times and was transferred to every department other then the one I needed. then was hung up on 4/5 times. the insurance department is halfassed backwards!!!!!!!
