I definitely wouldn't recommend a technical problem if the car has some kind of persistent, unsolvable issue.

Took my VW Tiguan in at short notice after a DPF warning, affected the glow plugs, and triggered limp mode. I was due to drive on holiday that day and thought I might need to hire a car for the week. They fitted me in straight away that morning, carried out a DPF regen within 90 minutes, and charged £75 — a mobile DPF service had quoted £400. Polite, prompt service and very reasonable cost. I’d use them again without hesitation.
Great service and communication from Rob and Pete. Overhauled my Bosch VE fuel injection pump in less than a week. Knowledgable and fairly priced, will visit again.
