I paid nearly $7,000 to have flooring installed in one room, with approximately $4,000 of that cost attributed to labor alone. Unfortunately, the room is still not complete, and I now have to hire another flooring company to finish the job. To make matters worse, the final cost was over $1,000 higher than the original estimate, despite the owner visiting twice to assess the project.
