Erica with Customer Services and Support was very helpful in the central branch area today. She was kind, very knowledgeable and helped me with an account access issue. I still have to wait 30 days to log into my account which is worrisome. But, not because of Erica! Go, Erica!

I have been a customer of First Citizens for 50 years with 4 different accounts. Long story short, a check didn’t arrive for my medical insurance so I stopped by the bank to do a “stop payment”. The next day I tried to pay the insurance payment on-line along with my credit card payment. Neither of these payments went through. After calling BCBS and Chase Bank, they both noted that my account had been frozen. I told them that was impossible. Would not recommend this branch. Attitude of teller I recently worked with was horrible. I didn’t have my account number memorized and filled out a withdrawal ticket best I could. I provided my ID and she looked me up (normal protocol), refused to fill out the number, slid it back to me in a rude way and said I need to do it, then read my account number out loud for others to hear. We've been dealing with First Citizens Bank for 10 years and have never had a negative issue. They have been nothing but respectful and patient with us.
