First citizens is literally the worst bank I have ever encountered. I made the mistake of taking out a loan with them a year or two ago, and I am still paying for it. The whole experience was awful. It took them so longn to get my direct debit working. They told me I was good, when in reality accounts were not being paid, and it even hurt my credit. Visited this branch in hopes of getting information to set up a trust. Arrived at 9am, informed one of the tellers that I would like to speak with someone about a trust. With being the first customer in the bank, I assumed that I would be assisted quickly. I sat for over 15 minutes and not one single person assisted me. I’ve been going to the Edwards mill location for years. I live on the north end of Raleigh and I will drive all the way across Raleigh when I need to go to the bank to come to this location. There is one person there, especially that makes this place outshine other branches. Hanna always has a very bright smile on her face, is eager to help other people, and very enthusiastic about her job. Horrible attitudes all around they clearly don’t want to be bothered by any work. I was told that it was dangerous for them and I to bring cash in to deposit. Why else would I come to the bank for?
