My wife and I recently purchased a newly constructed home in Wilmington, NC and used First Citizens Bank for our mortgage loan. Bar none, it was the WORST experience we've ever had in over 35 years of doing real estate. It crazy how much smaller banks have 24/7 customer care but not this terrible bank. We have a business bank and we will be looking to pull away from this bank as there customer service is horrible
I'd like to address the talking head CEO who thought it was a good idea to make it a policy to restrict (delete) access to their customer's online account. How does it make sense to restrict/delete the option to pay online because of a late payment?
Came in since I needed to withdraw cash for a notarization. I was able to order a new debit card and withdraw the cash I needed. I was seen by the Senior sales banker, Casey. He was great! He looked over my account and shared a promotion about a CD with a high interest rate. I went ahead and agreed. I am thankful he cared to look into my banking accounts and offer best solutions free of charge. Casey was kind, professional, and efficient! Thank you!
