I have use Firstcitizen Bank for years and they have always been fantastic with great customer service until recently they seem to be more interested in collecting junk fees than helping customers. As a disabled veteran that is not always able to come to the branch I can no longer recommend this once great bank am a moving my accounts elsewhere.
This place is ridiculous, I had enough money for an inventory purchase for my business and they claimed I didn’t have enough money took the rest of the money in my account and then charged me an overdraft fee. I will be closing my account and trying another bank. I advise going somewhere else.
