My company had banked with Wells Fargo for several decades. We're not a massive account, but it's a good-sized one. A little over a year ago, we decided to switch banks in search of a better experience - one where we weren't just another number. Extremely Frustrating Account Opening Experience I attempted to open a new account at First Citizens Bank, and this ended up being the only bank that has ever denied me. I currently have active accounts with multiple major banks and credit unions, and I’ve never experienced anything like this. The staff were polite in person, but the overall process was incredibly slow and inconvenient. Have been using this bank and their services now for nearly 10 years. Multiple accounts and loans serviced with their business banking team. They always come through and deliver as promised. The online portal is just what we need for a small business and serves us well. On several occasions they travel to our business to ensure loans are serviced and check if everything is going okay for us. That's a great neighborly bank!
