The account manager who opened my checking account informed me that I would not be charged any fees for the checking account because he was going to make it a digital access account. The account was never placed in "digital access" mode, and so a month after opening the account, my account was debited $12 -- the price that I am required to pay to simply keep my money in their bank, apparently.
