I had a business transaction as a buyer here at First Choice Title which had to be cancelled due issues on the seller's side. I then requested return of the nominal earnest money that was submitted and was told by a "Kris" that it would be sent. Approximately three weeks past and we never received the return of the earnest money. So another call was made and a Jill(VP) responded. Completely incompetent. Only reason for the one star is that zero is not available. First Choice handled a closing for a house lot I purchased over a year ago, found no title defects and issued the Warranty Deed as well as a title insurance policy. Less than a year later in May of 2023 while financing the construction loan I learned there was a Town tax lien from 2016 that had matured and was not discharged, as well as an error in 1996 which will be difficult and expensive to resolve.
