This painter asked me if I wanted to use semigloss paint. I said sure, assuming that, being the painting professional, he would not suggest this if it were not the right thing. But it looks very bad, aggressively shiny, streaky, highlights every flaw. When I complained about how bad it looks, he said he would do it again, but wanted to be paid again. I thought this was impaired professionalism and impaired ethics.
