First Choice people are totally RUDE, UNCARING and totally unhelpful. I called to check on a prescription that had been sent (electronic fax) and they said they did not have it and it would be 34 to 48 hours before it was in the system, this was on Wednesday (THE LADY WAS RUDE) and said to call back tomorrow (that is today Thursday, this is for the benefit of the company in the event they don't know what day it is). I called repeatedly to make sure my daughter had everything needed to get the equipment through my insurance and they verified I did, my daughter drove the hour to get equipmentnt they then advised her humana did not cover that equipment in delaware! I then called Human and they swear that they do cover it. their customer service is horrifying
I talked with 2 different people on the same day and gave them the info.. They requested some paperwork from the Dr's office. I took care of that. Called back 3 days later and was told nothing was in the system on it. Went over everything again and got the doctor to resend the info. I was told I would hear something back in the next couple of days. 3+ weeks later, I still have not heard from them. Awesome Customer Service!!!!!
For CPAP I got a woman's harness. I am a man. I got an order for masks that I did not know were coming and they are all small, I am an XL. I tried to call the office to fix it and I could not navigate the over burdensome menus to reach an actual person and I spent too long on hold. I think they were waiting me out so they could claim I called after hours and they were closed. I am seriously thinking of just turning in all my equipment.
It’s been two weeks since we dropped off a prescription for a nebulizer. Never heard anything back the first day so my husband called only to find out it was denied due to codes and we were told they were waiting for my Dr Office to call back. It was a Friday, end of business. It’s now another week and we have heard nothing from this company. Thankfully a friend had one to lend because I could not breathe. Very poor customer service. We requested a new script and took our business elsewhere.
Being abandoned by MedTix, owner Dr. Zahid Aslam (44) Elkton. Md, for indictment for bank fraud, I had no more help with oxygen supplies, My Dr. Batra & Caren Chaznov were helpful in getting me to 1st Choice. This company and manager Glen Rosenquist & driver Don have been absolutely wonderful. Thanks to Amy and Crystal for their help also. My Sincere Appreciation to everyone who helped me get my equipment (concentrator/homefill/tanks/canulas) !! THANK YOU ALL !
