Dr. Navarez has been my daughter's physician for the past year. Her care, her professionalism and her wisdom make this an experience we look forward to each Fall. This is community healthcare at its most caring!!!!
Waited over two months for my appointment which was primarily to get a dermatologist referral. The Dr. was resistant to give me the referral, stating that she could evaluate any skin issues. I explained that I'd like to get in with a Derm, so I can begin receiving annual checkups, as I'm 46 and skin cancer runs in my family. Again resistant but finally caved after I essentially had to demand the referral. In the end, the dermatologist never received a referral after checking in with them a few times. Will not go back. Dr. appears burnt out, not engaged in care. Had to ask for basic baseline primary care assessment including routine labs. I have worked in health care for over 35 years, this is not how an initial visit should be conducted.
I am happy with how I get treated here. Everyone is nice and friendly. Jim Stapleton is who I see and I am very happy with him. My old doctor Barbara Val-Espinosa was fantastic. Saw her for about six years. Very sorry to see her go.
