The worst service I have ever had. My husband is a brittle diabetic and has cancer and vascular issues and a electric wheelchair and they tell you every time you call they’ll be there to get in and you can wait up to three hours today. We’re waiting two hours. They don’t care I think everyone should know about the poor service so everyone quit using them and then when their business goes out then they’ll know maybe they should do better. My Mom donated her body to UC's medical program and when she died I called First Care to take her body from Lebanon to UC on North Bend Road. They charged $250 which I thought was a fair price, and much less than other medical transport companies were quoting. Everyone I dealt with at First Care was professional and courteous so I recommended them to the hospice people who were helping our family.
Just watched dashcam footage of a driver for First Care hitting a pedestrian crossing in the crosswalk. I would rather bleed out on the sidewalk than trust my life to one of this company's trash drivers. Also being a medical provider and registering as an LLC? Someone wants to avoid any kind of responsibility when they drop the ball.
On this past Monday 12/16/24, 2 gentlemen by the name of Elliot and Richie were dispatched to pick up the body of my father from a nursing home. They were the most compassionate and patient people I have ever met. They took care of me and my family in a difficult time. They answered all of our questions and they didn't rush us along. Richie even went back into the facility to help us carry a bag of my father's clothes out to my car. They deserve a raise for sure. The world needs more people like them for sure.
