UPDATE : Gas Safe Register inspectors found the company was responsible for using a wrong spare part, deemed our boiler unsafe and ordered them to fix it. The attached document is the Gas Safe Inspection Report that confirms that First Call Heating was responsible for causing the issue and requests the company to fix it. Ben Rood (Rude) came out for a boiler service and straight away his attitude was short. I explained that we smelt gas in our cupboard and he inspected it and has mentioned there is small gas leak and turned off our boiler as it is unsafe. As a first time house owner, I have no idea on these procedures so I had to ask the 'professional' on next steps and express that it is a concern as I work from home with a dog. Horrible experience with this company. Gas Engineer was extremely rude to my partner, unhelpful and dismissive. Did not feel safe with him in the house at all. Please go with another company if you are looking for professional service.
