The ambulance drivers for this company are some of the worst. Cutting people off and pulling out in front of people that have the right of way. It would be different if their lights were on and were headed to an emergency. But half the time they're stuffing their face with some fast food burger.
There is a heavy set white male on EMS staff who needs to be retrained on how to handle emergencies. I'm a Navy vet with PTSD. I was injured in a car accident and started having an anxiety attack, in which I was not able to recall basic information about myself. This man called me difficult, wasting time, and tried to gaslight me about my emotional state. He also tried using my military service as a reason why I shouldn't be emotional. The male driving the ambulance 86614 needs to be trained in a driving class. Cutting people off on 101st, almost driving someone off the road by cut them off without enough space, and speeding only to make it to the light at the same time as the rest of us.
Ambulance driver and support were great, however, customer service / billing team are unhelpful when discussing your bill as an out of network provider, stating the rates charged are mandated by the government. They sent a final notice to collections due to unresponsiveness, even though there have been several discussions around working with insurance on the bill and where we were in the process.
