I am a member and love the service. But since we are now streaming live, the microphones or the voices are somewhat muffled. Which makes it a little difficult to really hear all of the sermon. HELP
The pastors and laity know Gospel rootedness, Spirit leadership, and the importance of a consistent welcome. I love this place and these folks. I am grateful for their nurture.
Good page and good communications from the admin of this page, God Bless
I attended First Baptist Church from 1965 to 1992. I remember Dr. Hedgley, Reverend Epps, and Reverend Wendell Johnson being pastors there. Reverend Hedgley, Reverend Johnson and my father -in -law married my husband and I at First Baptist in May of 1992. I was also baptized there. I have great memories of the church. My late mother, Lois Clyburn and my late aunt, Sadie Rainey also loved attending this church and were active in the church. I highly recommend this church. I always felt a sense of belonging there.
This is my home church and I love our new worship leader Pastor Paul Robeson Ford. Do yourself and your spirit a favor and visit when you get a chance.
It’s a great church with awesome people! Pastor Ford is a awesome minister!
I look forward to visiting. ......................
