This was the most unprofessional closing of my 20 year real estate career. Marla, Nicholas, Nichole, Seth, and Mardi each had their hands in it. Their managers - Nichole and Seth - were ineffective at solving problems. There were 7+ people on emails, 76 emails deep, with multiple threads. It was confusing. They refused to insure aspects of the property - while agreeing to insure it for the lender, while I paid for it. I had forced exceptions to title, but they removed the exceptions to the lender. Completely unprofessional and rude. They are not taking instructions from mutual parties. They made many mistakes on our file. The sellers never wanted to transact with First American, but the buyer (Charter) decided to pay the seller fees and the decision was not the right one. I have never experienced such an awful experience with a closing company being over 25 years in the business being licensed in California, New York, and Barbados. Stay away from First American Title!

Treat disabled people terribly! First American Title personnel have been rude to the point of abusive of Colorado citizens with disabilities using the restroom while they wait to speak with Senator Gardner! These citizens are petitioning their elected official to protect the Medicaid funding that allow their independent lives. Shame on you First American Title! I would have expected a company like yours to be helping people, or at least respecting their right to express views to the Senator.
