Worst experience I've ever had with title company in many closings in my life. Many errors to correct causing 3 delays in closing. Also did not comply with payment instructions. Since the seller is required to pay for this service I as the seller should have some say in who is used. Very disappointed and would recommend staying away from this company
Just closed on our first house with Veterans United. My realtor was Kristy Newel so I don't know how First American Title company was chosen for this but whatever the reason was I am forever grateful about it. First American Title in Lutz was amazing every person I talked to or emailed was so professional and polite. They helped me with everything you have to do when closing. I have worked with nearly 100 different title companies, and this experience ranks among the worst. The final ALTA was not sent for review, and at closing, I was told everything was complete, and I could leave. However, I ended up waiting for half an hour in the lobby before having to inquire about receiving my check. The staff clearly doesn’t care about agents that keep their doors open, simply unprofessional. By contrast, the Brandon office provides a much more customer-friendly experience. Lutz, you need to do better.
