We used First American Title to close on our new home in Carthage and they were excellent. Professional, friendly, and accommodating, even arranging a mobile notary as we moved from out of state. They went above and beyond to help us close out our paperwork for our out of state home after we moved to MO. Highly recommend.
This closing was absolutely the worst experience I have ever had with a title company. I might add that I have been in the real estate and mortgage business for over 22 years. Sometimes when we have a closing and certain aspects of a title company's service are lacking; we hang in there with them out of loyalty. Don't do it. Pull you file now. Otherwise you may very well regret it.
