7 months after selling my property, a utility bill is in collections for not being paid a month AFTER the closing. 1st Amer Title said they don't check utilities, only water. Shame on them for not explaining it, and Shame on NM Gas Co for billing 2 months after sale, after transferring service.
First American Title closed our home sale. We were well informed from the beginning to the end. Very smooth process. Everyone at this branch is very kind and offered water in less than 5 mins of walking in. Highly recommend the group at Riverside. Thank you again.
This company is a joke!! That’s all you need to know. If I told you everything they’ve done at this point, I could write a novel. Long story short I sold a piece of land 7 months ago and it still hasn’t been recorded and I haven’t received payment because they keep messing up the contract and not getting signatures for months nor reaching out to any party with updates.
