I have spent CUMULATIVELY 6 hours this week on the phone trying to get customer service! They recently closed two branches in Upper New Mexico - mainly the branches that serve the Navajo Nation. The customer service was never all that good but it was never non existent. I needed to login on my online account and I got locked out because I mistakenly logged incorrectly one too many times. After banking with First American Credit Union for over a decade, my account was called without so much as a phone call, email, or notification. I began using another bank primarily several years ago due to the abysmal customer service I've always received from this institution but wished to keep this account open as I have utilized it on intermittently occasion over the past years.
