My family has been with the bank for over 40 years, this year we all decided to leave. Why ? Tools. The FAB app was great see everything in one place, personal, DBA, business. Then came the Ca$htrac app in the fall without notice. One of our main accounts simply disappeared from view. The bank said oh yes you need to use Ca$shtrac app. They broke all bill payments, automatic transfers and usability. If I had to describe the app in one word : unusable. Worst bank I have ever had. Their fraud protection is a joke. Their overdraft protection is a joke. Their customer service representatives don't even know how to put you on hold and then proceed to talk shit about you to their coworkers thinking you're on hold. Their transaction allerts will tell you about a $16 amazon payment but wont tell you when almost $300 has been taken from your account from a business that has never had a previous transaction with your account but if you make 2 transactions at the same store it will ... read more
I have banked with first american bank and have too many fraud alerts , I have banked at other banks and never had any fraud. But this last fraud with First American Bank has been able too steal $3400.00 from my account,I believed that my money was safe /protected and covered by the FDIC. BUT it looks like I am still out $3400.00. I am wondering if I should trust First American Bank with my money.
