Would never recommend using this place. Spoke to someone on the phone to cancel my account and they ended up hanging up on me. Kind of funny that if you don't use your account for a period of time they entitle themselves to your money. Also, they gave me the run around about how I can't cancel the account over the phone.
I have been with First American since they bought out our local Southport Bank several years ago. I was disappointed when it happened as I was a loyal Southport Bank customer. I have been pleasantly surprised. I mostly use the Kenosha northside branch. They have a heart. You don't find that with many banks today. They worked with my Dad regarding investments. Terri Peterson is always a tremendous help whenever I have a problem that she solves with ease. Personal Banker Genesis has been able to step in to assist me when Terri is not available. The teller line headed up by Sara along with all the other tellers are so friendly and courteous. They welcome me with a "Hi Mr. Johnson" & "How are you doing" whether I am in the lobby or drive thru.
