I am in contracts right now with this Lender. They are by far the worst company I have ever been in contracts with or involved. They have missed every deadline I have signed for them. I planned a trip around the things that needed tio be fixed on y house to come do them myself. I fixed everything on the list for the buyer and then 3 days before closing they throw a wrench in the plan and we could not close. TLDR: DO NOT USE FIRST ALLIANCE HOME MORTGAGE. This company is the example of lack of communication and false promises. It really should be their tagline on their business cards and website. Two home purchases with them and both were a nightmare. I decided to use them again because I must admit, the broker I was using is knowledgeable but that comes with a price. Available Monday - Sunday 8am - 10pm This is what this person advertises and I spoke with him on Friday 10/26/18 and told him that I was meeting with the Real Estate people at 12:30pm on Saturday 10/27/18 to make an offer on a property. Mr. ******* told me on Friday that he would work on the numbers and send them to me with a pre-approval letter the next morning. Dealing with First Alliance home mortgage was a NIGHTMARE. The loan officer was Robinson *******. Everything he told me was a lie. The rates were changed several times and when he lowered the rate he would increase fees cost. It was Highway Robbery. I complained to his boss who did nothing. Untrustworthy liars. After further investigation this loan officer has a bad reputation of scamming people.

I'm glad to see that others have had a good experience with FAHM but unfortunately I did not. Sam, a loan processor, insisted that I get wire instructions for all of the accounts that I would be paying off with the consolidation of debt into my mortgage. This took a couple of hours of effort on my part as I had to call every company repeatedly and request this information. Sam said that a simple payoff would not work. After I got all of that information and our loan closed I found out that the funds were not wired for payoff... read more
