Well we tried them for the first time during the Hogeye Festival and we’re definitely disappointed. They had two entrees to pick from and I got both. The Luau bowl and pork sliders. The pork was so dry and the slaw was disgusting. 🤮 We both had severe indigestion. If this is any preview of what’s to come when they open on a regular basis NO thanks. And that’s so sad because Elgin already had no good restaurant presence. Very disappointing.
Excellent! I have attended a few supper clubs hosted by FireWild in the last few months and they have been such a treat. This crew cares about the customer experience in a way that’s truly delightful. If you’re looking for a delicious meal sourced from local farmers and an experience that will allow you to feel connected to your community FireWild is a MUST. I consider it to be a gem in Elgin. P.S. They accommodated to our dairy free dietary restrictions without hesitation so I’m very thankful!

We went to the brunch 12/17. My husband had the shrimp and grits which were the best he had every had. I ordered the classic breakfast. Perfect amount of food. Eggs were cooked perfect along with the potatoes, bacon and sourdough toast. The service was quick. I look forward to more events in the future. Thank you for a wonderful breakfast!
