Starting in July we are open for retail hours Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays 11am-4pm. Fireweed Glass Studio has been a cornerstone of the Canmore art scene since 2013, with some of their owners creating artwork in this community for decades. The glass studio is a busy Bow Valley tourist destination with a huge ‘cool factor’. Visitors to this Canmore studio can watch as artists transform molten glass into beautiful works of art, then buy a handmade piece of glass art to take home.

I have purchased several pieces from Nicole over the years, all different small birds as gifts for my wife. They are beautiful, colourful and exquisite. Love them.
We stopped by on Sunday (one of the "maybe" days) and they were doing some maintenance of the furnace. They were happy to talk with us (and show some cool tools) and mentioned that the next day we should come in and someone would be doing some glass blowing projects. We did so and were able to have a wonderful demonstration and discussion for nearly 2 hours. Both the artists were awesome to interact with and it was really cool to hear about all the different projects and different tools.

We drove from Edmonton today to see Nicole. My Mom is getting an ashes to art orb created by Nicole. We watched her finish creating an orb today and it was magical. Her work is beautiful and very special since she uses ashes from your dearly departed. We can't wait to see the final result in a few months.
