One year ago I was referred for a sleep study. I was declined. Reason? A sleep study 10 YEARS prior showed no sleep apnea, therefore no need to repeat. In the meantime, I have had a study performed elsewhere and guess what? I HAVE SLEEP APNEA. How do you decline a referral based on a 10 year old study? My other doctors are mystified. How many other patients have been declined and may still be struggling and and experiencing declining health as a result? DO BETTER!!

I was booked for a Sleep Consultation for July 7th 2025. They booked it the morning of my overnight sleep study for sleep apnea, which was in early February. A six month wait, sure. But then randomly, the appointment got cancelled. No phone call. Just one singular email in MyDovetail. I phone the Firestone Institute to ask what happened, because I really need answers regarding my sleep apnea.
