When they brought my car down off the car lift and let the hood slam the top piece on the vent broke and fell off. They didnt have to let the hood slam but I understand things happen. I went to Firestone on Conley for my vehicle that had a warranty on it. Idk if they didn’t want to mess with the warranty or what the problem was but they told me it would cost more to have their guys break into it to find out what was wrong than it was worth their time. Two weeks later after fighting with the warranty company to find a new mechanic I took it to a local mom and pop garage and it was fixed for less than $160. Guys were great even though they were extremely busy.
Firestone has came through for me twice in the past. First I had a bolt in the tire but got there around close. They said to come back the next day but the person with me had pulled the bolt out already. Thankful they started late and put a new tire on so we didn't end up stranded. The second time my alternator went out. We called on a Sunday and it was in the shop and repaired by 5pm the same day. A couple of weeks ago we had gone shopping at Sam's Club where we got a flat tire. We drove over to Firestone and asked if it would possible to get us serviced as soon as possible because we had a car full of perishable groceries upon which they prioritized us. It ended up we had to have the tire replaced. Realizing that the other three tires would probably need replacement, we came back just a few days ago to get the other tires replaced (at a great sale price). Hanz was our customer service agent.
