Took a 2015 Toyota 4Runner for a pre-purchase inspector. Buying from a private party. I had noticed the engine was low on oil and owner couldn't believe it because he had just had oil changed by Toyota stealer, I mean dealer. Firestone found that the plastic oil filter cover was broken and oil was leaking from there. This can happen when drain plug is over tightened and is common on toyota and lexus.
