Another great experience at Firestone Chapel Hill. This time with Mike. I've been coming here since I worked at JC Penney (R.I.P.). I had a nail in my tire for this visit. I was able to make an appointment for the next day. They had a very reasonably priced tire. Mike kept me informed about the progress of the repair and they recommended a couple of things my car (146,000 miles) needed, too, which I really appreciated. I was in and out in less than an hour. The staff was friendly, efficient and did a great job. Wish it was a bit faster, but great time for a Saturday.
Where do I even start with this raggity company? We’ll start with what I needed done, an oil change, brake pads and rotors. I knew it wasn’t going to be a cheap fix but to my surprise I was quoted a little over $1200 just to get my FRONT brake pads and rotors replaced and an oil change. Highway robbery. I am a lot of things but stupid isn’t one of them. Horrible experience, took my truck in for an alignment, they completely avoided fixing the camber witch was the main reason for the alignment after getting new control arms, then! I take it back make a second appointment show up at the appointment time and truck sits outside for over a hour before they even start to look at it, as they knew I was waiting and not dropping it off
I highly recommend this repair shop! I took my car in to get checked and they took excellent care of my problem!! They thoroughly checked my car and explained what was going on. The manager even took a ride with me so I could show him my concerns and he explained everything that I had questions about. A lot of places will tell you something is wrong just to make more money, but this shop was honest with me and treated me right.
