Quick service. Couldn't get a battery out to service myself, so I called Firestone Auto Care. They were able to get the battery I needed within an hour, made an appointment and in and out quickly. Charge for battery installation $15.00.
Beware of Unethical Business Practices Do not go to Firestone Complete Auto Care located at 2211 Apalachee Parkway Tallahassee, FL 32301. I basically paid $100 diagnostic fee just to turn a simple sensor problem into couple thousand engine problem. Not only did they add 1000+ miles to my odometer (showing on their report) but they took more than a week before allowing me to take my vehicle for second opinion. Horrible Tires, Horrible Service, Horrible Auto Care I got two tires installed here. They were were very nice about it, but when I came back because one of the tires had a bump in it, they said that I had to buy a new tire. One of the staff members, (I think his name was Chris, philippino guy with glasses) said that it was not covered under the warranty. The Service is Horrible I went to this place once and bought a tire. About a month later the tread started to wear out very fast. They told me I should get my tires aligned. I did that, and a month later the tire tread was gone completely. I went back and asked them to change the tire. They said you have to buy a new tire. This place is horrible. They will rip you off.
Not recommended... Sorry, but I don't recommend it because I didn't like their services.
Dissatisfied. I went into Firestone in Benton for an oil change today. I waited 1 hr 49 min. Another gentleman arrived for an oil change 20 minutes before I left, and his car was finished 5 minutes before mine. 1 hr 49 min wait compared to a 15 min wait. I pointed this out to an employee who was not able to offer me any kind of an explanation for the grossly disproportionate wait times (and that he arrived significantly after, but left before me) . Inspection lies... I just moved to the Sterling area, and wanted to find a new service place nearby. Whenever I shop for a new mechanic, I act as though I don't know a thing about cars, to see if they will treat me honestly. Firestone in Sterling failed my test. Too bad for them, because I am an IT pro who knows the power of Internet reviews. I asked them to change the oil, rotate the tires, and do a safety inspection. This company sucks I took my truck in for rear tires and allignment. After I got it back the allignment was fine. The first time I had to make a quick stop I heard a loud pop from the front right side and then the truck started pulling real bad to the right. I took it back and they called me and told me that I needed new tires on the front as well. I told them I work on cars too and its the allignment not the tires. Beware! I have an emergency service company, and when my customers call, I give them the bottom line dollar amount before I leave to service them. These guys quoted me $139.00 for new breaks for my van. They asked me the year, make, and model as well as the engine size to assure the accuracy of their quote.
