On 5/12/2018 my car broke down in Pa. while I was visiting my family for Mother’s Day. I am a resident of Maryland. I was sitting at a light in Bethlehem, Pa. with my children in the car and I heard a loud sound and then my car wouldn’t move. I had my car towed to a local Firestone. (1751 Airport Rd. Very disappointed at the customer service at my previous visit. I have been a customer for a very long time and if I have a scheduled appt, I expect to be seen! Not brushed off and basically told I would not be gotten too and would need to reschedule because it was so busy?! I pray this will never happen again, but this is road hazard issue that I needed addressed. So this can potentially be alot more serious than just poor customer service! I just had the radiator replaced on our 2004 Kia Sorento at Firestone Complete Auto Care in Matthews, NC. The managing partner at that location is Bob Waudby. For this job, The total cost was more than $800 for a part that costs about $150 new, according to my online research. This is one example of price gouging at its worst.
