I took my SUV to Firestone Tire in Hidenwood Shopping Center in Newport News to get a slow leak in my tire repaired. In the process of removing the tire from the hub, they slashed a slit in the sidewall of the tire. I was told that since the SUV is AWD, I would have to replace all 4 tires at a cost of over $1000 (nice try). I checked with Volvo and was told I only need to replace the 2 that are on the same axel.
