Had a tire patched. They also rebalanced the tire and replaced the valve stem. I worked in an auto center and have patched hundreds of tires, if the tires are marked and put back on in the same position balancing is not needed, valve stems should be replaced with new tires and will last the life of the tire, they don’t need replacing with a tire repair.
I can’t thank this kind gentleman enough! After waiting almost three hours for a tow truck with no luck, he stopped on the side of the road and offered to help me change my flat tire — no hesitation, no questions asked. In less than five minutes, he had the tire changed and made sure I was safe before driving off. He didn’t ask for anything in return, just genuinely wanted to help. Michael saved me. Had been to a couple other places and another Firestone location. Parking lights were on, but headlights would not turn on. Made appt for Monday, and Michael said, "Let's take a look now anyway." Disconnected battery and issue resolved. As someone who trains people on customer service, his willingness to try basic troubleshooting saved me. 100% will come back. I appreciate you, sir.
