I went to Firestone on Van Dyke in Sterling Heights. Two weeks ago, they changed my car tire and charged me $148. Today, when I went to get a nail removed from the tire, they said it would need to be replaced again for $178. When I questioned the price, they told me it was due to prorated prices. I mentioned that my tire was still relatively new with low mileage, but they insisted on the $178. After further discussion, they went back to their system and then said the price was actually $40.
