If you pay for diagnostics be certain you are clear on what you are paying for. Our truck wouldn't start. $100+ diagnosis was bad battery and fuel pump. We did the battery and paid 500+ for them to do fuel pump. Wouldn't start yesterday (picked it up the day before) and took it in today. They said they didn't do electrical diagnostic only fuel system diagnostic. If we pay more they can diagnose that. Would the battery came up in a fuel system diagnostic evaluation? We won't be giving them more money. Ever.
I've been taking my car to this shop since I got it 4 years ago. They've always been very helpful and polite with me and other customers I've seen them interact with. Unless I move prohibitively far away I will continue to take my current car and any future vehicles I own to them for all of their schedule and unscheduled repair needs. Word to the wise though, they're a busy shop and sometimes fall a bit behind schedule so it's always best to schedule in advance then show up and hope they can fit you in that day.
