If you want a business or home security system, don't go with Firepower. In my opinion, they lure you in for the installation, then clobber you with the service contract. Do not agree to any installation until you demand to see the service contract. Read the service agreement BEFORE you agree to the install. It contains lots of surprises. Then, even if you change terms in the agreement, and they return the changed agreement signed by them, they try to force a different agreement. Quality Care – I created an account just so I could rate Firepower when I saw they only had a 3 star review. I had an security system updated a few weeks ago and the service was just top notch. I 'm a bit of a clean freak and am always concerned when a company comes in and does any work on my house. Usually I end up cleaning up after some service guys, but Firepower was meticulous. After drilling holes for new sensors and running some new wires I thought for sure I would have some work to do, but they left my house as clean ... read more

Im not sure the surprises sam is referring too. I found the service agreement to contain the same information as other alarm/security companies I've signed with in the past. In fact far less surprises than a large national company I finally managed to break away from recently. I've had fire alarm problems for years. I was finally told it couldn't be fixed and I would need to replace the system. Getting someone from my previous national fire company out to look at the problem was like pulling teeth. Watch out for Firepower: Rude with surprises – Consider other alarm/security providers. In my opinion you will be glad you did. IF you consider this company, do NOT agree to any installation until you demand to see the service agreement. The service agreement is where they try to make their money big time. It contains LOTS of surprises. Adminstrative staff was rude and tried to bully. Very unprofessional
In my opinion there are much better alarm/security companies out there. In my experience they were: (1) rude and unprofessional; (2) had a one-sided service agreement; (3)tried to bully me. The real key: do NOT agree to an installation until you see the service agreement. Thats where they try to make the money, it seems like to me.
