They are quick to START the repair and then they actually Delivered it to my dad after he paid $250.00 for the repair. It only worked once and then shuttered out on the panel.
We are so disappointed with Nick’s Fireplace. A technician came out 10 weeks ago to clean our gas fireplace for us. He started the job, then found a problem saying he will need to order a part and will finish the cleaning when he comes back to replace the part. Weeks went by and we heard nothing. Each time we called they kept telling us the part is on order. The customer service skills of the staff rates a five star review on its own merit. I have dealt with five different staff members and am greatly impressed with their attitudes, product knowledge, communication skills, and their willingness to take time and effort to ensure a happy consumer. This is a great local business that is most deserving of community support.
Over the last several years I’ve called these guys multiple times. Most of the calls go unanswered and not returned. I’ve recently spoke with them about my project and coordinating for install, they assured me their install team would call back. That was over a week ago and I’ve called a few times between that and left follow up voicemails. I have better things to do than beg for your services. Not sure why so many businesses like this survive with such poor service.
Store was gross, feels like a back room nobody cares about, hard to view items through the piles of stuff. The smell in the store is very bad, it hit us in the face when we walked in the door. The only person in the store seemed clueless and was unable to correctly answer our questions. Models on the display floor not for sale because they can no longer sell those brands? Is this store going out of business? It did not feel like a good place to make that level of purchase.
