Issues with Lopi wood burning insert. Basically told that is just the way it is. Pretty friendly though. LOL
I just got off the phone with them and the lady that I talk to was very rude to me on the phone so I would say that I would not call them or shop in their store.
I wanted to "tune up" our gas logs by adding "new" embers ... called but the person answering the phone didn't know if they carried any embers but she did explain the correct rep was with a customer. Understandable, so I drove to the location since they advertise & carry a huge selection of gas logs, fireplaces & more. I was a little nervous to call this place because of the bad reviews on Google. However, I decided to call after not finding any other place locally to inspect my gas fireplace. We hadn't used it in 8 years, and we needed to know if it was safe to turn on. The technician was prompt, super friendly, and very honest. He went above and beyond to help us understand the situation with our defunct fireplace. He didn't try to sell us anything, and, in fact, tried to save us money! Very disappointed with their lack of help and customer service after spending thousand on a fireplace that didn’t work. Told not their job to insure the fireplace actually works after installing it. After help from the manufacturer our electrician went thru everything to finally find a pinched wire in the firebox wall that was done during manufacturing, causing it to short out. After voiding our warranty cause they say we were burning to wet of wood and our electrician wired wrong. They tell us, well glad it works now. Just ... read more
