Myeisha, one of the nurses in 1 South, was the worst nurse there. She had an attitude, was very mean, very rude, shooed me away several times, and overall acted like she hated her job. 1 South is for depressed, suicidal etc. people who are trying to get better and when you have a nurse like her, it makes things worse for the patients.
This emergency room has not been making me very happy lately. But I was there early Saturday morning to rule out cardiac episode. (No heart trouble, thanks for caring!) They were prompt, professional, empathetic, and seemed very much to care about stabilizing me and getting me home. My nurses were Laquita and Liz. Both were great. Laquita was a blast too and made me happy even though I felt horrible. I hope these changes stick! If they don't I'll update this review!
This was my 1st visit to Firelands ER. We could not get into the family dr til Friday . The visit surpassed my expectations. We went in, the check in was fast and easy. We sat in the lobby for less then 10 minutes, and the lobby was full . We took my daughter in she just over 1 year, not sure if the process looks different for younger kids to take priority over other situations but I am greatful for how last night went. Idk if I walked into a parallel universe or what, but I'm in the hospital right now and I'd be hard pressed to think of a better time in a hospital let alone Firelands. The er staff was amazing. Very attentive and great bedside manner. HOWEVER, the ICU staff knocked my socks off, put em back on and knocked em off again. They went above and beyond to treat me. Caring. Concerned.
