I wanted to give a shout out to the 1 employee at the Clive Iowa firehouse sub today. Aug 16. He was so nice when my family and I went in. He apologized and said he was the only one who showed up to work and that it would be at least 30min or more to make out food. We told him it was okay and thanked him,as I was hangry, and I had my husband and child with me. I felt very bad and hope he gets some recognition outside of a "good job" for holding down the fort. 2:00 on Saturday 7/26, first “meh” experience we’ve had at this location. Whoever the male was making sandwiches didn’t acknowledge us when we walked in and then we had to listen to him and the female that, apparently, just got to work, talk about whoever “Dave” is and why she had his card. Not at all impressed when the customers have to listen to the drama of the employees. Now a lady is standing at the register waiting to order with zero acknowledgement that she’s even here.
