I am a fan of firehouse subs. I remember the first and only in Oakville and it was consistently amazing. I know there's a lot of chains now but I always hope that they keep up with the standards and expectations. Unfortunately, I cannot say that for this location. My boyfriend and I went there today for take out and we both got standard subs with not many add-ons or revisions. This time around, I got the Side Salad w/Swiss, added Black olives & Lite Italian dressing along with a Combo-Coke zero & French Onion Sunchips! Oatmeal cookie for later I'm looking forward to coming back & trying the Spicy dill or Zesty garlic hook & ladder (coin toss LOL), I'll bring my receipt for my free medium drink-thanks Firehouse! I’ve been a fan of this sandwich chain for a while, but unfortunately, my latest visit was a bit of a letdown. I ordered the usual sandwich, but this time, the meat portion was noticeably smaller than at their other location. The bread and veggies were fresh, as always, but I was really missing the hearty, satisfying filling that I’m used to.
