Food is good, but service sucks. Employees look like they don't wanna be there. They close shop early.
I stopped to grab lunch on my way from California to Sierra Vista Arizona. I've been a fan of firehouse subs ever since I had my first and was looking forward to my usual large Italian. The 2 employees that were working did not look happy to be there at all and it took them about 13 minutes to make my sandwich.. Been to this place couple of times to get sandwiches to go and I liked it. The sandwiches are made fresh to order and buns are fresh. The staff are pleasant and a very quiet place indeed. The food is what you expect at a place like this, nothing out of ordinary. Definitely would recommend.
It was a noticeable change in amount of meat on the sandwich. Price is a little high compared to 2 years ago. What I bought tasted great, but not worth the price of what I received.
I eagerly unwrapped the to-go package containing my Large Italian sandwich, imagining a mouthwatering creation filled with robust, spicy cold cuts. However, my excitement quickly turned to disappointment as I unveiled a meager assortment of thinly sliced meat resting on a bed of crisp lettuce and a few slices of tomatoes, all topped with unwanted onions.
