The restaurant was smokey inside. My husband ordered the buffalo chicken sandwich and it barely had anything on it. He ordered wheat and got white bread. It took foreeeeeeever to get our food and we were really hungry. The location itself was hard to find. The person that waited on me was not friendly at first, until I was being nice and I guess she felt obligated to be nice then. I understand why the dining area was virtually empty. Very friendly and clean establishment. They make the very BEST vegetarian subs. I won't be going anywhere else.
This was my first time trying Firehouse Subs. I ordered a “Make Your Own” turkey sandwich, which isn’t listed under their “Hot Subs” section—so I assumed it would be served cold. When I received it hot, I politely let them know I didn’t want it that way. The employee was rude and told me I should’ve said something earlier, placing the blame on me.
