Went there today to get lunch. The restaurant was crowded.People sitting at the tables with half empty cups and empty potato chip bags. The wait for a sandwich exceeded twenty minutes The staff was nonchalantly working without any sense of urgency. This is a result in poor management. Poor hiring and lack of staff morale. Great sandwiches
Those were the best sub sandwiches I ever had. The is a crew in there and the white guys making the food. He is in there putting people flat on their backs with the exact portion of each ingredient. The secret to a good firehouse sub is great staff. The young man at the register with the makeup on is a treasure. The two men making the food are very expensive if you were to ever lose them. PROMOTE the entire team, train them, fly them places, give them stores.
I've read several reviews that say the same thing. Going to be 25 to 30 min wait. Have catering orders to fill. Restaurant is empty. Seems to be a common occurrence. I ordered anyway. Took evert bit of 30 min. I guess 8:30 in the evening is not the time to come here.
