Dexter is a problem. He is a low quality “manager”, and should not be allowed to be a franchise owner with the attitude and poor at best customer service. I truly hope he’s treated how he treats his customers in every moment of his being.
Extremely disappointed with my experience at Firehouse Subs in Decatur. The employees were extremely rude and acted as though customers were an inconvenience. What was even more disturbing was watching a woman in front of me being treated with disrespect. During the interaction, a racial slur was used toward her. She was understandably upset and walked out, and I decided to leave as well. Regardless of someone's age, using racial slurs or speaking to customers that way is completely unacceptable. I placed an order on the app at 4:31pm and received conformation from the app and email. Got to the store and they didn't have my order. Said the internet was down. Showed my receipt and asked for my food to be made per my receipt with time stamp. It was also taken out of my account. Employees called the manager/owner. He was rude. I walked in and some guy named Connor greets me and after I get done telling him my entire order he then says you have to order down here, indicating someone else to order with. That's fine I did it and when she said something to him later about something else he rolled his eyes. He obviously hates his job so I come out and ask him and said "do you hate your job?"
