Salmon & pasta dish is great Service is so-so. The bar food/appetizer menu is limited, but they offer nice entrees. I love the pasta & salmon dish. It's fun to try their seasonal microbrews. The bar area can be loud and sports-oriented (big-screen TVs). The upstairs dining area is quieter, and suitable for large groups.
Okay food, a little too pricey for the quality, not crowded This used to be Stoddards in Sunnyvale. It still seems to be the same format. We went on a Friday night and it wasn't very crowded in the restaurant (a sign that it isn't very popular?). The bar area, however was quite crowded and busy (probably because of March Madness and they were showing some game on tv). The food is so-so. I think that it could be better for the price. Firehouse Grill I recently ate here with friends and although my pasta bolognese was very tasty, I thought the prices were kind of high. The ambiance is alright, with a nice upper level seating area. Parking can be a real challenge because there usually aren't many open spots on this block.
