The number one question we get is, “Where did you come up with Firefly Homes?” We didn’t want just another house building company. We wanted to build houses that evoke that true feeling of HOME. Fireflies are something that just about everyone associates with those late summer nights outside with friends and family, comfort, peace, perfection. Because of this imagery we knew that Firefly had to be a part of our name.

Firefly has been difficult to work with. Our cabinets throughout the house had yellowed before moving in-the owner stated that it was countertop glue causing the problem. Unfortunately, they refused to fully correct the issue which seems to be that the wood was not treated before painting, so yellow continues to bleed through. Our cupboards are all ombre, white and yellow. Horrible experience. I tried to buy my house as unrepresented. I am a former Realtor. I did not need one. They forced me to use their realtor ( Virginia Mann). Fine. she did not represented well in this transaction. I will open a case with the Division to report this kind of people. when I bought my house, they were in a such hurry to finish it many items were unfinished or poorly finished.
